Yes, absolutely. LifeRing is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 in the UK. All data stored in LifeRing is strictly confidential and secure, meaning you can have peace of mind that your company’s personal data is safe and secure.

Dates are tricky things and there is no one one definitive standard, even within the UK. The most traditional format in the UK is 31 December 2001 or 31 Dec 2001. In numeric format this is often written as 31/12/2001 or 31/12/01. In the UK we can also use 31.12.2001 or 31.12.01 as alternative formatting. When presenting dates in an application, where we need to present tables of date ordered records, we have opted to use ISO 8601 format or BS ISO 8601:2004. Dates in this format are separated with hyphens: 2003-11-02 and allow for easy and efficient sorting in chronological order. This date format is unambiguous and has the added benefit of being machine-readable. This standard for date formatting is internationally recognised and understandable and is becoming the de facto standard for use within software applications.
